Holy Spirit

The Descent of the Holy Spirit in a 15th century illuminated manuscript. Musee Conde,Chantilly. The Holy Spirit is depicted as a dove in the topmost area of painting.
In mainstream Christianity, the Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost is one of the three entities of the Holy Trinity which make up the single substance of God ; that is, the Spirit is considered to act in concert with and share an essential nature with God the Father and God the Son. The Christian theology of the Holy Spirit, or pneumatology, was the last piece of Trinitarian theology to be fully explored and developed. For this reason, there is greater theological diversity among Christian understandings of the Spirit than there is among understandings of the Son and of the Father. Within Trinitarian theology, the Holy Spirit is sometimes referred to as the "Third Person" of the Triune God - with the Father being the First Person and the Son the Second Person. There are also distinct understandings of the Holy Spirit by non-Trinitarian groups and some non-Christian groups who use the term as well.

"Holy Spirit" or "Holy Ghost"

Holy Ghost was the common name for the Holy Spirit in English prior to the 20th century. It is the name used in the Book of Prayer and the King James Version and is still used by those who prefer more traditional language, or whose religious vocabulary is largely derived from the KJV. The term is still retained in the traditional-language rites of the Anglican Church. The original meaning of the English word ghost closely paralleled the words spirit or soul; only later did the former word come to acquire the specific sense of "disembodied spirit of the dead" and the associated pejorative connotations.
In 1901 the American Standard Version of the Bible translated the name as Holy Spirit. Almost all modern English translations have followed suit. Some languages still use a word that overlaps both English words, such as the German Geist.
English translations have followed suit. Some languages still use a word that overlaps both English words, such as the German Geist.
In Norfolk a county in the United Kingdom, Religious Education teachers are told to avoid using "Holy Ghost" as it allegedly "suggests a trivial and spooky element to the third part in the Trinity"…

That's all.thanks.!!=)

"Better to reign in hell than to serve in heaven",by John Milton

I was intrigued by this English poet quote in his book's "Paradise Lost".For me it has deep meaning to it.

Did he literally mean it?Is it better to go to hell and become a ruler in hell instead of going to heaven???!.No, i don't think so.Hell is hell. There are no point of creating hell if degenerate human being don't suffer in hell, right?

But i think this qoute is quite true in real life.

Across the world, countries in Africa continent such as Sierra Leone and Liberia ,there is civil war going on.Their people live in constant fear because of violence and atrocities commited by all combatants. You might say that places is hell on earth.

Those who reign in that kind of places is definitely have a decent living compare to their countrymen.Warlords in conflict zone will be able to secure themselves and their family food, shelter and protection because they have power to do so.

What about those who live in poverty in 'heaven'?? such as..let say Malaysia.Did their life is better than those dictators and bloodthirsty warlords in conflict zones?actually no.They are struggling to feed themselves.

So what John Milton is trying to say is,to be on top of society is always good no matter where they are. That is my opinion.

I have read about a blog that told about Anwar Ibrahim's relationship with head of World Bank or IMF, Paul Wolfowitz.
The blog has taken an article titled "Malaysia’s Anwar Ibrahim:Wolfowitz’s Knife in Asia’s Back" by Mike Billington.

What I read is not all about politics but it is about our nations future generation that will face more obstacle if Anwar take lead of our nation.

Im quite sure that all of us know about money problem held by Indonesia till now mostly cause by IMF. They create chaos in asian's stock(George Soros), then they acts like helping countries by giving monetary loans, with high interest.

Surely all of us did not want our country to turn up like Indonesia, poor getting poorer and rich people living in luxury. I really hope that no bad thing happened to our nation.

One more thing, blog is not really something we can prove, so i hope that the future leader of the nation will be pointed upon to someone patriotic, charismatics and have a good leadership.

That's all from me, assalamualaikum...

The Great Pyramid of Giza, also called Khufu's Pyramid or the Pyramid of Khufu, and Pyramid of Cheops, is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza Necropolis bordering what is now Cairo, Egypt, and is the only remaining member of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It is believed the pyramid was built as a tomb for Fourth dynasty Egyptian King Khufu (Cheops in Greek) and constructed over a 20 year period concluding around 2560 BC. The Great Pyramid was the tallest man-made structure in the world for over 3,800 years. Visibly all that remains is the underlying step-pyramid core structure seen today. Many of the casing stones that once covered the structure can still be seen around the base of the Great Pyramid. There have been varying scientific and alternative theories regarding the Great Pyramid's construction techniques. Most accepted construction theories are based on the idea that it was built by moving huge stones from a quarry and dragging and lifting them into place.

There are three known chambers inside the Great Pyramid. The lowest chamber is cut into the bedrock upon which the pyramid was built and was unfinished. The so-called Queen's Chamber and King's Chamber are higher up within the pyramid structure. The Great Pyramid of Giza is the main part of a complex setting of buildings that included two mortuary temples in honor of Khufu (one close to the pyramid and one near the Nile), three smaller pyramids for Khufu's wives, an even smaller "satellite" pyramid, a raised causeway connecting the two temples, and small mastaba tombs surrounding the pyramid for nobles.

why do they build such a thing anyway????you can build so many houses by that period, well I think its a waste of time....but its still a great masterpiece,hehehe....

Passwords or watchwords have been used since ancient times.Polybius describes the system for distribution watchwords in the Roman military as follows:
The way in which they secure the passing round of the watchword for the night is as follows: from the tenth maniple of each class of infantry and cavalry, the maniple which is encamped at the lower end of the street, a man is chosen who is relieved from guard duty, and he attends every day at sunset at the tent of the tribune, and receiving from him the watchword - that is a wooden tablet with the word inscribed on it - takes his leave, and on returning to his quarters passes on the watchword and tablet before witnesses to the commander of the next maniple, who in turn passes it to the one next him. All do the same until it reaches the first maniples, those encamped near the tents of the tribunes. These latter are obliged to deliver the tablet to the tribunes before dark. So that if all those issued are returned, the tribune knows that the watchword has been given to all the maniples, and has passed through all on its way back to him. If any one of them is missing, he makes inquiry at once, as he knows by the marks from what quarter the tablet has not returned, and whoever is responsible for the stoppage meets with the punishment he merits. [2].
Passwords have been used with computers since the earliest days of computing. MIT's CTSS, one of the first time sharing systems, was introduced in 1961. It had a LOGIN command that requested a user password. "After typing PASSWORD, the system turns off the printing mechanism, if possible, so that the user may type in his password with privacy." [3] Robert Morris invented the idea of storing login passwords in a hashed form as part of the Unix operating system. His algorithm, know as crypt(3), used a 12-bit salt and invoked a modified form of the DES algorithm 25 times to reduce the risk of dictionary attacks.

Computers have become an important part of our lives,so it's no wonder were even making a fuss on how they look.fashion is now the latest criterion on buyer's shopping lists.

"A PC reflects the user and his lifestyle,"says Low Gah Luen, head of the mobile PC product department with ACer in Malaysia."Young, urban professionals in particular will select a PC based on design."

Low says the most important laptop design features are colour, material, shape, the name of the product and the underlying brand. This finding led to the design for Acer's new Aspire notebook range, developed under the codename Gemstone.

Jonathan Cheung, marketing managing for the IT product group in the consumer electronic marketing division at Sony's Hong Kong marketing company, says consumers look for colour options, carrying cases and mice of matching colour, and casing materials that stand out.

When it comes down to yhe nuts and olts, users want more than bigger memory, biger storage and bigger screen.

Sony's Vaio AR and FZ series, for example, incorporate Blu-ray technology for superior HD content playback while the TZ series offers a high resolution LCD screen for enhanced viewing.

Low points to the Acer's Empowering Technology platform, which he describes as a practical suite of utilities that gives you complete control of your PC.

DEkstops are not being left behind either Sony's home PCs such as the Vaio TV side TP2 and L series come jam-packed with multimedia features.

A trusted Brand's relationship with consumers can border on the emotional and top PC makers work to retain such loyalty.

Discerning customers can now expect competitive pricing, strategically located services outlets,24-hours telephone technical support and a minimum one-year warranty with an option for extension to at least three years.

Meat Eating is Murder
It's sad that going green had to be hip before people cared but as the cliche goes,it's better late than never.Still,in our bid to fight global warming, one major cause remains relatively unrecognised:our meat guzzling diet.A United Nations report states that livestock production accounts for the production of nine percent cardon dioxide,37 percent methane gases and 65 percent nitrogen dioxide. All in all, livestock is responsible for more greenhouse gases than the automobile industry! It also takes up 30 percent of ice-free,land-based parts of the world and one-third arable land is devoted to producing feed grain to sustain them.
With meat production set to double by 2050,our unsustainable methods of consuming livestock are either going to leave parts of the world starving while the rest deal with obesity and other health issues or leave our planet irreversibly ravaged. Both ways,we're screwed

This is a true story where two sisters who shared a nightmare and survived. bothe girls escaped the family home as soon as possible but in a sickening pattern of violence. jenny went on to suffer unimaginable degradations at the hands of her violent partner and kim had cope with the agony of watching history repeat itself. through all the horror, what kept the sister going was the extraordinarilly powerful bond between the two of them, which has survived terrifying pain and given them the strength to thriumph over the past.

A nuclear weapon is an explosive device that derives its destructive force from nuclear reactions, either fission or a combination of fission and fusion. Both reactions release vast quantities of energy from relatively small amounts of matter.A modern thermonuclear weapon weighing little more than a thousand kilograms can produce an explosion comparable to the detonation of more than a billion kilograms of conventional high explosive.Even small nuclear devices with yields equivalent to only a few thousand tons of TNT can devastate a city.Nuclear weapons are considered weapons of mass destruction, and their use and control has been a major aspect of international policy since their debut. In the history of warfare only two nuclear weapons have been detonated offensively, both during the closing days of World War II.The first was detonated on the morning of 6 August 1945,when the United States dropped a uranium gun-type device code-named "Little Boy" on the Japanese city of Hiroshima. The second was detonated three days later when the United States dropped a plutonium implosion-type device code-named "Fat Man" on the city of Nagasaki, Japan. These bombings resulted in the immediate deaths of around 120,000 people from injuries sustained from the explosion and acute radiation sickness, and even more deaths from long-term effects of radiation. The use of these weapons was and remains controversial.
Since the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings, nuclear weapons have been detonated on over two thousand occasions for testing purposes and demonstration purposes.
The two basic fission weapon designsThere are three basic types of nuclear weapons. The first are weapons which produce their explosive energy through nuclear fission reactions alone. These are called fission bombs. These bombs have also been referred to as atomic bombs since their first use, though their energy comes specifically from the nucleus of the atom.In fission weapons, a mass of fissile material is assembled into a supercritical mass—the amount of material needed to start an exponentially growing nuclear chain reaction either by shooting one piece of sub-critical material into another "gun" method,or by compressing a sub-critical sphere of material using chemical explosives to many times its original density. The latter approach is considered more sophisticated than the former, and only the latter approach can be used if plutonium is the fissile material.A major challenge in all nuclear weapon designs is to ensure that a significant fraction of the fuel is consumed before the weapon destroys itself. The amount of energy released by fission bombs can range between the equivalent of less than a ton of TNT upwards to around 500,000 tons of TNT.The second basic type of nuclear weapon produces a large amount of its energy through nuclear fusion reactions. These weapons are called 'thermonuclear bombs'. Historically they have been called hydrogen bombs,as they rely on fusion reactions between isotopes of hydrogen, though all such weapons derive a significant—and sometimes a majority—of their energy from fission reactions. Because fusion material cannot go overcritical no matter the amount used, and because fusion weapons can be staged, these kind of weapons may be made significantly more powerful than fission bombs. Only six countries—United States, Russia,United Kingdom, People's Republic of China, France and India have detonated hydrogen bombs. The basics of the Teller–Ulam design for a hydrogen bomb: a fission bomb uses radiation to compress and heat a separate section of fusion fuel.Thermonuclear bombs work by using the energy of a fission bomb in order to compress and heat fusion fuel.In the Teller-Ulam design, which accounts for all multi-megaton yield hydrogen bombs, this is accomplished by placing a fission bomb and fusion fuel (tritium, deuterium, or lithium deuteride)in proximity within a special,radiation-reflecting container. When the fission bomb is detonated, gamma and X-rays emitted first compress the fusion fuel, then heat it to thermonuclear temperatures. The ensuing fusion reaction creates enormous numbers of high-speed neutrons, which then can induce fission in materials which normally are not prone to it, such as depleted uranium. Each of these components is known as a "stage," with the fission bomb as the "primary" and the fusion capsule as the "secondary." In large hydrogen bombs, about half of the yield, and much of the resulting nuclear fallout, comes from the final fissioning of depleted uranium.By chaining together numerous stages with increasing amounts of fusion fuel, thermonuclear weapons can be made to an almost arbitrary yield; the largest ever detonated (the Tsar Bomba of the USSR) released an energy equivalent to over 50 million tons of TNT. Most thermonuclear weapons are considerably smaller than this, due for instance to practical constraints in fitting them into the space and weight requirements of missile warheads.

An Independence Day is an annual celebration observing the anniversary of a nation's independent statehood, usually after ceasing to be a colony or part of another state. All countries honor their respective independence day, celebrating it as a national holiday. The independence of Malaysia is different from that of the independence of other countries. It was a peaceful independence attained by holding talks with the British. Thus on 31 August 1957, Malaysia got its independence from the United Kingdom. The first Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj spearheaded the effort for independence, leading a delegation of ministers and political leaders of Malaya (now Malaysia) in negotiations with the British in London for Merdeka, or Independence.
Just when it became clear that the Communist threat posed during the Malayan Emergency was getting out of hand, agreement was reached on February 8, 1956, for Malaya to gain independence from the British Empire. But for some reason it was decided that the official proclamation of independence would be made the next year, on August 31, 1957, at Stadium Merdeka (Independence Stadium), in Kuala Lumpur.
On this glorious day Allahyarham Tunku Abdul Rahman proudly declared the independence day of Malaysia by shouting out "Merdeka" seven times at the Merdeka Stadium. Hari Merdeka meaning the Independence Day is the national day of Malaysia commemorating the independence of the Federation of Malaya from British colonial rule. In a larger perspective this day is celebrates the formation of Malaysia. On August 31, 2008, Malaysia will celebrate its 50 years of independence.
Hopefully we should always appreciate the mean of independence in our life..

Firstly, assalamualaikum to Mis Intan. I want apologize because do wrong comment in this part. Again I want apologize on my wrong.
I hope teacher can forgive me.
MY COMMENT TITLE: HOW YOU SLEEP IS WHAT YOU EAT
Are you having problem feeling sleepy when you want to be alert and vice-versa? Perhaps you need to look at your diet, as it may be the culprit. The brain`s state of sleepiness or alertness, calmness or anxiousness is said to be determined by messengers in body called neuro-transmitters.
One of these which is called serotonin helps us feel calm and relaxed. Researchers have found that eating larger amount of carbohydrate foods, such as sweets, potatoes and grain products increasing brain levels of serotonin. High-protein meals or snacks, consisting mostly of meat, on the other hand, tend to cause brain levels of serotonin to remain low.
A French study that varied the amount of carbohydrate fed to subjects found that an intake of carbohydrate with an serving of protein product did not cause drowsiness. But when very large amount of carbohydrate were provided without protein, subjects reported felling drowsy. This drowsiness occurred even after exercise which normally cause people fell more alert.
We can take advantages of these finding to determine how to stay alert or to get some sleep. A snack that is largely carbohydrate-based may relax us and make it easier for us to fall balanced meal that includes protein (meat, chicken, fish, dairy products or dried beans) as well as modest portion of grains, vegetables and fruit is more likely to help than loading up on a huge platter of meatless pasta.
Some experiments suggest that the effects may vary depending on the particular carbohydrate food chosen. The ability of carbohydrate to increase brain serotonin involves a rise in insulin level in the blood when carbohydrate is eaten. Large carbohydrate portions, or those that cause a faster rise in blood sugar such as sweets, potatoes, bread, refined cereals will cause greater increase in serotonin (and sleepiness). Fruit and dried beans contain carbohydrate that raises blood sugar more slowly, and so would not be expected to raise serotonin levels as high.
But what about good nutrition? Eating to stay alert just means including some protein in our meals. However, do not overeat grain product just because they are fat-free. By including plenty of high-fiber fruits or vegetables in meals, blood sugar and insulin will rise moderately, and serotonin level in the brain will not jump dramatically.
Nevertheless when it comes to getting a good night`s sleep, studies clearly show that it is more than just what we eat. Some people are very sensitive to caffeine in coffee, tannin in tea and soda pops, even when it is consumed as early as 5.00p.m. Other people find that the key to a good night`s sleep lies in establishing a routine pattern of pre-bedtime behaviours, keeping a consistent bedtime, getting regular exercise, and learning relaxation techniques. If you are extremely sleepy throughout the day, check your eating patterns. Nevertheless, do not try to compensate for lack of sleep at night by eating protein and scraping by(having just enough or surviving) on caffeine; adequate sleep is essential.

Thats all, thank you from me..
Assalmualaikum.....

Just because you know someone doesn’t mean you love them, and just because you don’t know people doesn’t mean you can’t love them. You can fall in love with a complete stranger in a heartbeat, if God planned that route for you. So open your heart to strangers more often. You never know when God will throw that pass at you.
