Salam to Miss Intan..

a few moment ago, I interested with article about future technology for lighting system. The title for that article is 'Helios Lighting System Concept for Elderly People'. The Helios system is an automatic lighting system designed to help the elderly live a healthier life through healthier lighting. According to experts, the two major health problems facing the elderly today are falls and bad quality of sleep. The products required for the system are a wall sconce, night light and a system specific light switch. To address these two problems, a dual-stage approach is required. First, a night lighting system utilizing motion sensors allows seniors to move around at night without having to turn on the bright primary lights. Second, a series of daytime lighting therapies helps readjust the body’s clock so that seniors can get to sleep at a healthier time and sleep through the night more comfortably and soundly.

Don’t catch a virus this Valentine’s

By STEFAN NAIDU

I think the information is vital to every internet users. We should aware of the virus and don’t open e-mail that we don’t know the sender. It is also a way to get virus. That is good that a free malware scanner and cleaner web page address is provided. Thus, anyone wish to combat this problem can download the software.
I think an occasional scanning our laptop or computer is the essential way. That is because prevention is better than cure. Besides, a monthly format is recommended for the heavy users. Compare format and fixed a computer problem, formatting is cheaper than fixing it.
Below is the address of the free malware scanner, anyone interested can click to it.
For non-Trend Micro customers, the link to the scanner is housecall.trendmicro.com.
Trend Micro customers can download the patch at us.trendmicro.com/us/products/ enterprise/web-protection-add-on.

It is not article, but it is a news passage from the NSTP. It is about the teaching Mathematics and Science in English.
As we heard in the news, a gathering was held in front of Istana Negara on objection to the policy of teaching Mathematics and Science in English by Gerakan Mansuh PPSMI, leads by Datuk Hassan Ahmad, in support by Datuk A. Samad Said. The crowd marched from the National Mosque to Istana Negara to submit the memorandum.
The gathering were participated by university students and supporters of two politic parties. The ‘ceremony’ necessitated the policemen to use the tear gas and water cannon to control the cowd. At first, the Inspector- General of Police, Tan Sri Musa Hassan was told that there will no demonstrations or gathering during they hand the memorandum to the palace official Datuk Azuan Effendy. But then, it come to ruin after the crowd marched and made chaos in front of the Istana Negara. The illegal gathering cause the traffic jams at most roads into the city besides inconvenienced the city folks and tourists.
I don’t have any specific information and details about the politicial issues or whatever related to it, but what make me feel dull is did they realized that they are troubling others, the roads users, making rubbish, traffic jams, cause injuries? I am not a follower or supporter of any politic party, as I am not 21 years yet, but why don’t they gather or make ‘rapat umum’ like ump did peacefully, at spacious place like Dataran Merdeka, and free of injury..huhu..it won’t need the police to fire tear gas or water connon to them..

hi miss intan, in this post i would like to talk about 'Slumdog Millionaire'. As we all know, it is a movie directed by danny boyle. Initially, i thought i will not like the movie, because personally i hate movie that would make me fear for the character's life. I've always been the audience that would love to sea prince saving his princess.
But this movie really open my eyes.
It is no doubt that the movie is good, great in fact. Surprisingly, it has won many awards.
It include a boy's life in the slum of India. How he lost his mother early in his life, the brotherhood that he hold on to, and his love to a girl that he never forget. It's all so dramatic. But then i read an article about the child star.
The children who acted in the movie, really live in the slum. They were shocked by all the fame that they received. As they had lived their life in the slum, imagine how the fame of acting in a movie of top earning change their life.

As the article said, the child stars of the movie is just enjoying their new-found fame, but with the intervention of their parents, the movie producers had to deal with the parents, as they asking for money. Actually the child stars had received a house away from the slum, a a huge sum of money. But, the parents are not satisfied with that and keep asking for more.

The movie producers said that they would help the family, but they would not want to provide the money, but they want to bring changes to the family, by providing education to the children and thus the children themselves would change their life.

This is a reality of fame....
When it suddenly appeared out of nowhere, it can either cause happiness or sadness.....

The children would live their new life, but i believe that their life in the slum would helped them facing the worst the world can offer.

I would like to share with you a national geographic video clip and an article that I had watched and read recently. Both of the video clip and the article are regarding Dubai. As we know, Dubai had been successfully create a man-made palm-shaped island and is now building the world tallest tower. Besides that, Dubai is going to create a world! A man-made world! What a great idea to boost the luxurious based tourism of Dubai?

The idea of creating the World is came from the ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Dubai links 300 islands nearby her coast and creates a world map that visible from space. For your information, Dubai is built on its profit of the oil reserve. However, the oil is estimated to be run dry by the year of 2016. Thus, Dubai must change from an emirate reliance on oil to a land filled by tourists. I really enjoyed watching the video clip as I am so impressed with the ruler of Dubai who managed to transform Dubai into a well-known country and a top tourist destination in a decade. Moreover, he has such an impressive visionary, which enables Dubai to survive without her oil reserve. Everyone in the world is waiting for Dubai to come out with the next miracle. Would Malaysia be able to construct this kind of mega structure? In my opinion, Malaysia still has a long way to go to succeed in tourism unless she fully utilize the resources and show the world the extraordinary of hers.

Regarding to the article that I had read last week with the title golden age, I would like to share my point of view about this issue.

In my opinion, I strongly agree that the government should make compulsory for Malaysian to take care of their elderly. Nowadays, there are many old folks that without their family members to take care of them, there are also a lot of old folks being abandon by their family. Most of the elderly in our country are not financially independent, indirectly, it will cause many social problems and become a burden for government. Proactive action should be taken by the government to prevent this social problem from becoming worse.

First, it is a responsibility that everyone should take care of their elderly. Many people forget this responsibility and think that it is a burden to take care of them. They forget how their parents bring them up to what they are now. They are the one who brings us to this world and take good care of us since we are young. No matter how they will always stand right beside us. On the contrast, we as son or daughter should take our responsibility to give them a prosperous and happy life during their golden age. This suggestion will remind the youngsters to take this responsibility.

Besides, it is a lot of expectation of the elderly to their children. They wish to have a prosperous life with their family. The meaning of prosperous and happy life not just only can achieve by wealth or luxury life style. A peace and harmonies time with family members are the life they desire the most. Therefore, all of us should share some times for the elderly and should understand what they actually need.

The elderly strive hard to earn the living expenses for their children. They work round the clock just because of their love family. So, is time for us to pay back their sacrifice. It is the human nature to take care of their love one. The new generation have to pay much love and concern to the elderly no matter how difficult when take care of them.

We should not hesitate to support government plan to make compulsory to take good care to the elderly. The positive value of should be maintain to next generation so it will reduce the social problem in our country.

Assalamualaikum to Miss Intan.I've read an article about a motivational story. The story begin with a man helping a butterfly to go out from it's cocoon. At the first time, he just look at the butterfly struggles to force itself out from it's cocoon. But the butterfly did not make it. So, he took out the scissors and cut the cocoon out so the butterfly can fly. All he want to do is just to see the butterfly can fly freely, but it not happens like that. The butterfly had swollen body and shriveled wings. It is not happen like the man want which is he could see the butterfly expand it's wing and fly. But the butterfly spend the rest of it's life by crawling. After I read this article, I can make conclusion that in our life, sometimes struggles are exactly we need in our life's. If God allowed us to go through our life without any obstacles, it would crippled us. The obstacles in our life can make us matured. Sometimes we feel the thing we have done is good for us, but the truth it's not good for us. Sometimes we feel that the thing is not good for us, but the truth is it will make better man.

Hi Miss..

This time I read about mushrooms. I love mushrooms very much. So, I discovered what the effect if I eat mushrooms. What a surprise! Mushrooms have a lot of benefits. Mushrooms have excellent source of potassium that can elevated blood pressure and can reduces risk of stroke. Mushrooms also have rich of riboflavin, niacin, and selenium. Selenium is an antioxidant that works with vitamin E to protect cells from the damaging effects of free radicals. The latest findings show that white button mushrooms can reduce the risk of breast cancer and prostate cancer. An extract of white button mushrooms decreased cell proliferation and decreased tumor size in a dose-dependent manner.

The most commonly consumed mushroom in the United States is Agaricus bisporus or the white button mushroom. A. bisporus has two other forms - Crimini or brown mushrooms with a more earthy flavor and firmer texture, and Portabella mushrooms with a large umbrella-shaped cap and meaty flavor. Shiitake mushrooms have been used for centuries by the Chinese and Japanese to treat colds and flu. Lentinan, a beta-glucan isolated from the fruiting body of shiitake mushrooms, appears to stimulate the immune system, help fight infection, and demonstrates anti-tumor activity.

This time I'm going to share about powerful tips for a first perfect date.It is suitable for those who haven't date any boy yet.

1) ASK GOOD,FUN QUESTIONS..
Questions are a great way to keep the conversation going. They will also help you learn more about this person so you can find out how much you have in common and if you're compatible enough to enter an intimate romantic relationship.

2) Keep the Focus on Your Date

Ask him/her a question and pay a full attention when he/she answer. It will really make a good impression on your date and will make him/her like you, because you showed that you are a thoughtful and polite person who values other people's opinions and lives - not just him/herself.

3) Keep Your First Date Short and Fun

The purpose of a first date is to get to know each other a little and get a general idea of the other person's personality and way of life. So that you can decide if there's enough chemistry and compatibility between you two.Avoid talking about boring topic like politics, religion and so on in you very first date.Just make your date simple and fun~

So,good luck for those who wanna try!

In this book also mention about seventh question about it. First, how the word 'Cristian' come from. Second, what the difference of focus between Islam and Cristian. Third, is Jesus came from Jews, Israeli family or both. Fourth, explain about Jesuit's life and teachings. Fifth, how the Jesuit's followers after he go up to heaven. Sixth, what the main difference between Roman Catholic Church and Protestant Church. Seventh, what the basics of Cristian believes.

This questions have answer in this books. For the Cristian followers, be broadminded because its only about sharing knowledge about books. Not beyond at all.

Hayao Miyazaki is one of the most notable Japanese anime filmmaker. He is one of the founder of The Ghibli Studio,(its like Pixar Studio of Japan). He was well known for his detailed artworks and impeccable style of storytelling, where we probably couldn't find anywhere else. His work always left me with awe, fascinated all my senses and gave
me cozy and warm feelings afterward, because the way he put a soul into his work is really deep. His creations are breathed with a whole lot of emotion, packed with effective and believable motion, and vision of it's own. If i need to conclude his work with one word, I will choose this- humanly. The journey of the characters itself can make you cringe nervously, constantly trying to catch your breath, sheds a tear or two, and always ended with big smile and some giggles. Its wonderful! My Neighbour Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, Laputa:Castles in The Sky, and Spirited Away (one of his finest work, which he won an Oscar for Best Animated Features) are some of my favourites that I want to share with.

The Ghibli studio also produced other outstanding work besides works directed by Miyazaki himself, like my favourite anime of all time- Tombstone of The Firefly. It tells a story of Seita and his sister, Setsuko who was forced to swallow the bitterness of life in World War 2 after they lose their family in bombing incidence. The ambience is like 360 turn from his usually cheerful and bright atmosphere he uses in his anime, because it is an anti-war themed anime. Believe me, you will cry after watching this. I cry. It is just.....i'm speechless. No word can define it.You have to see to believe.

salam to miss intan and fellow friends.Today i want to share about antioxidant. The number of people said that antioxidant is very important in ourlive,is it true? Now i can explain to all of you. What are antioxidants? They are any compounds that protect the body from adverse biological reactions involving oxygen. This may sound strange, because we know that oxygen is necessary for the body to function, without oxygen, our cells die within minutes.A great irony of nature is that the body's natural metabolism involving oxygen also produces a host of toxic compounds called 'free radical'.These compounds can harm body cells by altering molecules of protein and fat,and by damaging DNA.Antioxidants counteract,or neutralize, the harmful effects of free radicals.Through enormous research over the past decade,a huge array of antioxidant phytochemicals found in the plant kingdom have been identified. The important ones that have been studied for their ability to fight cancer are lycopene,beta-carotene,curcumin,resveratrol and many different kinds of polyphenols, including the class flavonoid.Because these phytochemicals are in the fruits, vegetables, beans, and grains you eat,it is fairly easy to include them in your diet...good try

I would like to talk about calcium in our food..Everyone requires calcium. Calcium is essential for the growth and repair of bones throughout life. Bones mass generally peaks by age 30 to 35. Thereafter, one begins to lose more mass than the body can replace. The reduction of bone mass can progress gradually and painlessly and most people do not know they have osteoporosis until the bone break. This is why osteoporosis is also known as “ The Silent Disease”. Women are more prone to osteoporosis after menopause.
Calcium-rich foods include broccoli, non-fat and low-fat dairy products, nuts, seaweed and seeds. While milk is a good source of calcium, many people are lactose intolerant. Their bodies are unable to digest necessary amounts of lactose, the predominant sugar in milk.
It is not easy to obtain the daily requirement of calcium, and even more difficult for people with lactose intolerance as they cannot consume milk. In cases where the amount of calcium from food is not possible or practical, it is recommended to take a calcium supplement. So my dear friends, we have to remember that calcium is very important to health!

Hi Miss Intan…
I just read an email that was sent by my sister which is about parasites that can cause cancer. Honestly, it was made me scared if the parasites are also at my body now. There was a story when a woman wore new attire that she just bought without washed it first. Then she got cancer because parasites at the attire were made her body as their host. Imagine it, just because you don’t wash first, it can cause huge changes in your life. This article had reminded me about something; preventing is better than cure.
Then I found an article which is parasites that can cause cancer just like HIV/AIDS. In a research, parasites no only control the behavior of their host but also change entire ecosystem to suit their needs. Parasites also use nutrition inside their host and cause the host get less nutrient. In other words, parasites are critical factor in the development as well as treatment of cancer. Same case with the woman, which parasites ate her tissue, make she felt less energy.
If we want to remove cancer, we have to remove the parasites first. If we kill the parasites, the cancer stops immediately and the tissue return to normal. In some cases, when we want to remove the parasites, we have to cut also our organ. This case is when it can’t be cured by thermotherapy only because the cancer is at the critical stage.
So, which one do you prefer, getting sick or be more hygienic?

this is actually a short story of which really happened in a war torn country. a little girl had been losing her younger brother for six months and what feared her most is that the boy is shot dead by the enemy. one day ,a troop came to dig a mass grave and true enough, one of the bodies found was her beloved brother. she felt like losing the reason to live together with the desire to talk and smile. the troop sympathize her and looked for a psychiatrist to talk to her. a doctor found, yet he could not speak her language. however,he shared the same faith as her,so he counselled her through an interpreter whom her study was halted because of the war. she did not only convey his words but also together with the emotions, and vice versa. the doctor reminds her to hold fast to God,and the reasons why she must go on with life. that opened her heart a little. she began to smile again after months without any smile. the doctor thanked Allah, grateful that he helped to bring back a smile, and a life.

how to study effectively....

1.Designate a place for studying. You should have a place set aside just for studying, where it is quiet and away from distractions. Make this area comfortable, as well as useful, by preparing the space with items you need to do your studying. You don’t want to disrupt your study time by getting up to search for things you need.
Step
2.Get plenty of sleep. Sleep deprivation can affect your memory, making it difficult to retain what you have studied.
Step
3.Make a fixed schedule. Schedule your study time for a certain time of the day and stick to it. After a while it will become a routine.
Step4Take a break from your studies every 30 to 40 minutes to get something to drink or just stretch your legs. This should be a short break, just a few minutes so that you don’t ruin your concentration and get sidetracked.
Step
5.Find a study partner. Often times we can get off course studying on our own, but a partner can help you keep on track, as well as offer tips and ideas that you may not have thought of on your own.
Step
6.Set definite goals. Decide what you need to study on that particular day and set a goal of how much you will try to cover. If you don’t get through it all in the time you allotted, rethink how much time each subject will take and adjust your goals accordingly.
