the activities that we have done are 30 second talk, two lies and a truths, ice breaking, humbering, discussion, giving opinion.....ect.the most interesting is discussion because the whole class is preparing the almost same topic.that is reasonable because for our age, just the topic involve boy vs girl can make us interesting discuss.haha...but this is ok and fun due to the arguing between two sense.but this is very surprising when mellisa said about virgin.at the moment the word i can say is just "oh my god".but she is good in giving opinion.maybe she can try to debate.what i learn from the activities is how to give opinion.i still learning how to express myself.so i still need to learn more in future.in conclusion, is time to speak out!

'The Activities'....
Well, the first couple weeks is always about introduction. And this semester, the introduction is all about expressing our opinion on certain matters that actually give some impact to our life. Then we got to know our dear Miss Intan.... and not just that, we also learn a little bit more about our classmate and for the fact that we are going to be in one class for the next 6 semesters, we will be learning about each other a lot better. Besides that, the choice of topic that my dear friends choose could really heated up the discussion and the best thing is that each of us have many very good points to make a stands about what their believes is....and i believe that these activities will go on and we will be learning a lot then....So let's just enjoy our class.
the activities during first 2 week, i think its very fun and enjoyable .During the first session of the class when meet miss intan it about introducing myself infront of others members k26,it just like an ice breaking.Actually i hate when introduce myself..but it ok at that time.for next class is about asking and answer the question.We need to make 2 lines and must face to each others.One need to ask and the other side need to answer..Woa ,i felt very interesting and make me laugh after i heard the answer from different person.Then for activity of humming,quite tough to guess the answer and also for public speaking about giving the opinions on one topic that we choose.Everything is good for me and make me learn something different from previous semester.

For the first two week, actually it is more about introduction. This semester, we have done many activities such as 30 second talk, ice breaking, discussion and giving opinion. For me, the most interesting activities are discussion and giving opinion. When the giving opinion, we needed to make two lines, one line make a question and the another given their opinion. This activities needed us a lot of thinking especially for the unexpected question. For the discussion activities, actually we'll discuss about hot topic that is between boys and girls..
i like almost all the activities because all of it involve talking...
i like to talk actually...because for me talking is the medium for me to 'feel fresh'...
all of the activities really taught me how to think & answer rationally...
maybe you realize that in class, i'm a playful student...not too serious...but honestly the activities allow me to think...

in the first two week we have a lot of activities such as ice breaking,talking,discussion and giving opinion..these activity actually was an ordinary activity to get our mood in study since we had just come back from semester break.i really enjoy my class since they can help me to spek better in front of people..i hope all of us will not be shy to give their opinion in future.
during the first week of the sem, we did some warm up by introducing ourselves to the members of the class. The next week was more into opinions and asking from each of us about what we think based on our friends' questions.
When asking and answering Alan's questions, i knew he doesn't ask the same the same question to the members, because he asked me why do i joined this section...like hello~ do others get the same question? haha...of course not!
then we have to do this activity where we have to make 'hmm' sound and let the members guess which sentence the other teams were trying to say. its quite funny that we kept making the wrong choice and my group's mark was on the second bottom.
later on we had listenings, where two people were quarelling over 'donating' to the beggars. We also have some readings on proton savvy and the latest activity was this - posting on my class activities here. I'm glad i was in this class this sem because i was kinda lost in my previous section. Thanks to the new friends i am making right now.
I think the activites in first weeks are too interesting, but sometimes too hard thingking due to the task that given are too tough....

first two weeks of the semester..it was 30seconds talk.quite interesting for me because we need to think and give our opinion on the spot.or else, the 30 seconds were gone..from this activity,i've tried my best to speak and tell my friends what i am thinking about.some of the question really catch my interest.huhu...two lies and a truth..we tend to know our friends..what they like to do,what they don't.then, we know our classmates better than last sem.humdinger..the most activity i like so far..by only humming,we were guessing what other people say..and compete each group to give the answers.feel like everybody is energetic,active and have fun during that time.,when it came to discussion, it was a hot time.all the topics discussed were comparing boys and girls..and each group tend to defend themselves.i have learned so many things for this 4 weeks class.but i do believe, there are too many things i need to learn to improve my english..and i hope i have a better result in english after this..

honestly i do feel terrible to speak in front of people.but the activities that we have done can help me to be better than before.giving my own opinion,and at the same time laugh while listening to others.i think it is an enjoyful way of learning...

The first two weeks...
The first week, there are briefing in class about our subject in this semester. The activity that i enjoy at the first two week ice breaking session. At the first time, a lecturer ask us to lies! Not everyone better in lying, me either. then, I enjoy play netball in evening.
The activity that I’d enjoy too much is 30 second talk which we have to state about two false statements and one true statement. Then the other classmate has to find the truth. I’d state three statements which the first statement is I’m a right handed person. Second statement is I hate to be alone and for the third statement is I loved to stay at home. The true one is the third statement. Many of my classmate said that the second one is true. Maybe they did not know me closely yet. Hahaha… so, from this activities I now realize that many things about my classmate that I don’t know yet. As a conclusion, I must start to know them more!

the activity that i enjoy for the first two week of the semester?
well to be honest none of the activity interest me.
but there are some activity that make me thinking like discussion in group.where my group be the first group make presentation in this semester.the topic that we discuss is our future husband and wife.judging the inside or outside.
every one and each semester always starts with an introduction session.especially those classes with newcomers of member as well as lecturers.basically the objective is still the same,that is to make us speak and get to know one another better from different aspects,only that the approaches are varied.and that indeed which makes the process enjoying.we had laughs and quarrels throughout the session,which makes it unique and memorable.thanks everyone...

In first two weeks in this semester, I really enjoyed with the ice breaking…of course because with that I can know and understand my classmates personality…actually, on my way to attend technical writing’s class, I kept wondering what game we will play in the class…actually it was not really a game, it was about 1 true and 2 lie…whenever presenter talked about the true and lies, another friends will guess which one is true…it was quite hard for me to tell the lies because of never get that kind of order…but then I enjoyed with it…then, the giving opinion…well, I really fun with it since I got many answer from them. The most interesting answer was come from syikin. She said that she like watching wrestling…she is the one and only my female friend that enjoy watching wrestling…that how I enjoyed my first two weeks in technical writing…
Ice breaking, group discussion, giving opinion, debate, listening and singing were the activities we did in the class few weeks ago. The activity that i enjoyed the most was the group discussion. We had discussed about the differences between the opposite genders. I really learned a lot while listened to one of our classmate, Rajan's opinion. And what i have learned was that we couldn't just simply compared men or women, neither boys and girls. We are borned to be different and the most important thing is that how we can respect each other to do great thing for this world. Beside the discussion, i also enjoyed the debate part. Our group had been given a topic entitled " Being an engineer is better than being a maid". This made me miss of those days while i was participating the debate competition at secondary school. In a nutshell, i have learned how to use better words to express my own opinion. However, there will be a long way for me to be a good speaker. Thank you, Miss Intan for bringing us an enjoyable lesson. Happy new year!

It's the beginning for me to learn about technical writing in this second semester. So, in the first two week, my classmate and I have done few of activities such as humdinger, debate, how to give opinion and ice breaking. Humdinger help us in creative thinking as we have to talk without open our mouth. At first time, it is quite difficult to do this, but we feel enjoy when doing this. In ice breaking, activity like two lies and a truth make us to guest what is true with what our friend talk about. 30 second talk help us how to give an impromptu speech. All of this activities enjoying and have a good value behind this.
There are many activities that we had done together during the class such as ice breaking, giving opinion, humdinger and so on. During the ice breaking session, although we had already known each other in that class but I'm truly happy to see my classmates again after a long period of time. The best thing is when our K26 now having a beautiful, lovely teacher, Miss Intan.
Giving opinion?? Actually I always feel shy and a little bit afraid to talk in front of the others but sometime I need to do so. The best activity, I think, was the humdinger. It was the first time I heard about that game and I never tried to play it until we did it in the previous class. Unfortunately, our group failed to get any point and we had to be the second group to present the next discussion activity. It is so much fun to be in your class, miss. TQ
what a wonderful nice!the activitiy during first two week are very interesting such as ice breaking.at this time my friends will give 3 stamements like two lies and a truth.so depend my members to choose which one.another activities is ask and answer for some question from my friends,the best question for me is 'what opinion about gay' i don't know exactly about this issue but i still gives my opinion..but Humdinger help us in creative thinking as we have to talk without open and lastly debate.Debate is a good program because it can improve communication skill for each students.so let's we enjoy the all activitiy in class

honestly,every time i have to attend to English class since i study here,i will be very exited.it's because,i know that there will be no tension in our class and we will do many interesting activities.
i think,the most interesting activity since the 2nd sem begin is when we debated many topic about gender.my group was debating about which criteria will you choose for your future mate.i was really exited to discuss about that topic since it involve boys and girls.
other activities such as 30 second's talk had force me to think and speak faster.it was quite interesting,but at the end of the session,i got a headache.maybe because i have to answer too many "weird" questions from my friends..huhu~
the things that i got during all the activities during the first two weeks is,i had to learn more on how to speak clearly in front of other people and do not afraid on giving my opinion in front of others..

There have lots of activities during the first 2 weeks...first of all..About the briefing of subject..with this we can know better about that subject..And then the famous one.. Ice breaking... this activity make us know more about our classmate..as we know that not all the student will get the same class like before...other is giving opinion... if we want to give our opinion, we need to speak English...it is just like give us confident to speak more and like a practise for us to speak to others..about the debate..That activity can increase our communication skill and also about the giving opinion..of course i really enjoyed with that activities..and hope will enjoy with this class forever..

english classes is one of the most anticipated time of my life in UMP, and i really looking forward to it. it is the time when you don't have to think about MATHEMATICAL THEOREM, SCIENTIFIC EXPLANATION, WEIRD JARGON and other things involving logics and facts that is unbearably nauseating sometimes. i love it when you can sit back,enjoy some creative moments, interacting with each others, singing,laugh occasionally (which is impossible in other classes), and the most important thing,having fun. maybe we have not reach the project time yet, so i will say that the activities in this first two weeks- ice breaking, games, giving speech(mostly),blogging,etc.- is pretty laid back,enjoyable,fun,and informative.and i like it..
I LOVE PEOPLE LYING TO ME,I LOVE CHOCOLATE SO MUCH AND I LOVE TO SINGING...
This is three statement that i give during ice bracking in 1st week..I think this is defferent ice breaking in my life that i have found.People must remember what our 'X factor'...
Something special that this couple of week during this class is my friend and i have done some discussion.Then i realise that we have different idea and all idea is good.But,in a group we must have some tolerent or understanding each other to get one the best opinion.This make our group became know each other and be a matured person among us.
I hope,this class will be fun untill the end of this semester.
In my opinion, the first couple of weeks were just an introduction and warming up section.. However that was the moment we had fun with classmates and tightened our relationship. We learned how to communicate effectively,respect others' opinions and so on. Hence, we should appreciate. It was a good starting for the second semester. Therefor, lets carry on!!!!!!

the most thing i remember is an activity whereby, we need to talk about the three thing that we like..
the second thing is about talk and ask the other people about their hoby..its quite interesting activity...it made us become more closer to the other students... although it quit annoying..coz we need to focus on each word they say..then later on, miss will ask to us about that...
from these activity, i realised that i really need to improve my confident when i have to talk at front...

There have lots of activities during the first 2 weeks...first of all..About the briefing of subject. With this we can know better about that subject. And of course, the usual activity; ice breaking...through this activity I got to know more about my classmates. For this semester, there are new classmates that were previously from other section and through ice breaking, I got the chance to know them. In the Technical Writing class, if we want to give our opinion, we need to speak English. It is just like another practise to sharpen our confidence to speak more and also to be fluent in English. And about the debate, this activity can increase our communication skill and also about the giving opinion. I really enjoy myself with these activities.
When a new semester is started, the activities during the first 2 weeks normally is all about introduction, ice-breaking and briefing of certain subjects. Actually, these activities are repeating each semester. Honestly, once i knew all these things will be happening again, I am kinda reluctant to attend the class. For the sack of responsibility and also bit guilty, i finally join the class also. After joining whole the activities, i found that it is not that bad actually. The activities such as 30 second talk, 2 lies and a truths, debating and sharing opinion are quite interesting. I enjoy the activities and thank you very much, Miss Intan. Nice to meet you.
