For the second article, i read something about cars..I read it in a car magazine , 'TopGear'. There is a section in that magazine about three people, who actually is the hosts of a show all about car and the title is 'TopGear'. The three people are Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond. This three people are the people you would trust to comment about any car. But in the magazine, these three people write about things that is realated to cars. For Jeremy Clarkson, he is writing about finance, he quoted that the banks have been landing money more than they have, so at the end, it come tumbling down like avalanche.
For James May, he wrote about riding bikes, may not directly link to cars, but bikes still a form of transportation. James May is an avid motorcyclist and he likes it, but in the article because he is ageing fast and he prefers to ride bikes on fair day than raining day.
For Richard Hammond, he wrote abou when your car broke down, we tend to be pissed about it and called the mechanics and end up losing quite a bomb in fixing the car. But for Richard Hammond, he likes fixing car and getting his hands dirty with grease and oils..

For my second article, I still want to share with you about cars but for this article, I want to tell you about Lamborghini Gallardo Coupe Superleggera. The design for the body kit is looking great. i love that. For someone that love speed, this car
actually suitable for you'll. This car is faster than the previous Lamborghini Gallardo model. It needs only 3.8 seconds to go from 0 to 62 mph, 0.2 seconds less than the basic Gallardo. The car comes with robotized mechanical e-gear as standard, a sports package including shock absorbers, and special suede-covered steering wheel. Lamborghini's engineer decreased Gallardo's low weight using advanced materials. The engine hood is made of visible carbon fiber and plastic, a material choice that guarantees lightness and also shows off the magnificent V10. This car comes with 2 main colors, yellow and silver.

Besides "Western Digital" closed its factory in Kuching, Sarawak caused 1500 workers unemployed, there is another German chip-maker Qimonda goes bankrupt (Source: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/7846757.stm). The world economy is now sliding into a deep and protracted recession; this might be the reason why people are not in the mood to celebrate the New Year, as well as Chinese New Year. However, I do believe that New Year brings new resolution to us. In spite of unstable economy, we all will need to be a smart spender to help our country to overcome the situation, just like what we did in 1997. Malaysia Boleh!

My second article for this month is about Boycott Israel. Most of our daily products that we use are Israel's. Can you imagine if we decide to boycott all their products what are we going to have? After this, no more KFC and Mc'Donald, no more watching Disney's cartoon and Discovery channel, no more taking Nestle's and J&J products, and even Nokia we need to boycott. As we know US and Israel are such big companies and they have veto power in order to control the world. They have all the knowledge, skills and power. So, how can we and what we have to fight against them? They are so much powerful than we are. Even through boycotting still cannot let the Palestine free. The really big things that we have is pray. Pray to Allah for peaceful and Palestine. Aminn..

Fast eaters get fat?
It's that true?
the answer is yes. People who ate qiuckly and who ate until were full were three times more likely to be obese. The researchers said that they tend to consume more calories when they are eating quicklyand eating quickly is linked to obesity regardless of how many calories are eaten. Setting aside meal times and chatting between bites can help slow the rate of eating and allow your body to send fullness before you've overeaten. So, eat slow to get slim!

For the second article..i have read about mosquito-repelling barbeque light..
Its name is quite unique…based on that article,it said that while we’re busy doing bbq meal in our garden, why we should take the risk and be a meal for mosquitoes ourselves. With this unique thing, all the pesky blood-sucking inserts won’t be able to come near to us as the device will create a 20-foot radius bite-free zone around us…this thing won’t use any chemicals but will instead emit noises of an insect’s predator..so,we can even leave it stand alone if we want it..it used the rechargeable batteries…it will be more easier for us to get the full battery…

For the second article i had read a short article about big bugs that called Atlas Moth. There is some background on the Atlas Moth that i had read. It is found only in Southeast Asia and the Atlas Moth is the largest of the moth species which ha the largest wing surface area—close to sixty-five square inches—and a wingspan of up to a foot long. It was named after wing patterns that resemble maps. The moth’s wing tips resemble a snake’s head in order to ward off predators. With no mouth, it feeds off fat reserves built up during their caterpillar stage. Females Moth secrete a pheromone through a gland at the end of the abdomen that males can detect several miles downwind. Adults mate quickly, since a total lifespan of a female is only one to two weeks. Females lay their eggs, use up their fat reserves to feed themselves, and then quickly die.

Boycott Israel and USA product
I had read an article about this in 19th January’s news paper. The author, Mohd. Jurit Ramli told that Malaysians be not aggressive in boycott Israel and USA product. There are still full of customers in western restaurants.
There are advantages and disadvantages for us, Malaysians when we do boycott to that product.
The advantages are we are consumers and consumer has the authority to make the products to be banned or not. Therefore we can boycott their product by choose our product. In addition, it is one way to show our mad towards what they have done to Palestine.
However, when we boycott their product, we have to face with economy problem. As we know, we also export our products to US. They can easily ban our products by telling that the products are unqualified. Since they have the veto power, others will follow what they do.
As a conclusion, we can boycott their products but not too much. Yes, we are very angry and regret to what they have done to Palestine, but we have think about our country also.

'Bodies of babies found in bags in Tokyo'........................... It was reported that 4 decomposed infants’ bodies were found in a closet by their relative. Before that, a 51-year-old women was found dead in the same room. She was an unemployed that facing financial problems. Now, it is believed that the women has murdered her own children before she committed suicide. However, this case is still under investigation. If she really had done like that because of stress and financial problems, I think she had taken a wrong action. She should request help from authority and attend to counselling class especially about financial management. She should realize that her babies were innocent and she had no right to take away their life!!!!!

my second comment will be about the most general issue since ten decade ago...which is about the global warming...

Nowadays, the earth has become so hot and that's caused by the effect of global warming.
Everyone knew what is global warming right?

According to the wikipedia in the Internet,Global warming is the increase in the average temperature of the Earth's near-surface air and oceans since the mid-20th century.....due to human activity, since the start of the industrial era, for the most recent 50 years....

its also caused by greenhouse gas..greenhouse gas caused the infrared radiation that then caused the atmospheric gases warm a planet's lower atmosphere and surface....
the major greenhouse gases are water vapor, which causes about 36–70 percent of the greenhouse effect....

so we must do something to stop the global warming as we can reduce the gas that produced by the cars and smoke of factory..our planets safety is in our hand,it is our responsible to care it properly.

'Shoot all the bluejays you want, if you can hit 'em, but remember, it's a sin to kill a mockingbird'.

I can't quiet describe my feeling when i saw Harper Lee's classic, Pulitzer Prize winning novel- To Kill a Mockingbird- at UMP's library. I always wanted to read it,since i first heard about it years ago, and now i have the opportunity, i'm thrilled! My first impression about this novel is it might be a very political, heavy-vocabulary type of novel, as it is considered one of literature masterpiece. I couldn't be more wrong. The background of the story is on the year of 1930s,at the southern part of America. The main subject of this novel is very provocative, which is strings of social stigmas, mainly racism, that we can see as a very relevant topic not even back then, but also in our modern society. What made this story remarkable is the way it was told, the medium used in depicting the story, which is through the pure and innocent eyes of children. Scout and Jem Finch is the soul of the story,as they are the storyteller. The author very cleverly plays with child's mind to make a very sensitive and heavy subjects bearable for us to exhaled. One can't help but left smiling when we read about their conversation with their morally inclined father, Mr. Atticus Finch, on heavy topics. Their sharpness and logical thinking sometime surpass adults, as they are well read and taught. The story's climax is when their father, which is a lawyer, defended a real mockingbird- black man who is accused of raping a white girl. Even though the evidences were clearly proved that the man is innocent, the jury (all whites) unanimously vote him guilty. All and all, this is truly a literature masterpiece, because it is thought provoking and will excite your mind to think about social issues, that is told in the funniest and lightest way it could be told. My short and brief comment didn't do any justice to the book, as i am not a good writer,so you have to read the book to experience the real thing!

For the 2nd article, i would like to share with you all about internet neutrality.

Based on what i had read from internet. Network neutrality is the principle that internet users should be in control of what content they view and what applications they use on the Internet.

Since its earliest days, the internet has functioned according to network neutrality principle. Existence of net neutrality allowed many listed companies to launch, grow and innovate.Net neutrality allowed equal access to the internet for all strata of society.

In my point of view, the market power of most of the broadband carriers should be limited. They have no right to discriminate against competing applications or content. As an example, telephone companies are not allowed to tell consumers who they can call or what they can say, as well as broadband carriers.

Today, the neutrality of the Internet is at stake as the broadband carriers want Congress's permission to determine what content gets to you first and fastest. In a nut shell, this would fundamentally change the openness of the network.

For the second article, I'll be writing about a scientist famous for his invention that can generates electricity. Alessandro Volta, an Italian, invented a device to generate static electricity and he also discovered methane gas. Volta investigated the reactions between dissimilar metals and he had successfully developed the world first battery in 1800. The unit of voltage, Volt, is named in his honour. His invention not only benefits the future generations ahead of his time but also catalyses future inventions as well.

It all depends on your child's age. Charts that list the hours of sleep likely to be required by an infant or a 2-year-old may cause concern when individual differences aren't considered. These numbers are simply averages reported for large groups of children of particular ages.
There's no magical number of hours required by all kids in a certain age group. Two-year-old Sarah might sleep from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM, whereas 2-year-old Johnny is just as alert the next day after sleeping from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM. Still, sleep is very important to a child's well-being. The link between a child's lack of sleep and his or her behavior isn't always obvious. When adults are tired, they can either be grumpy or have low energy, but kids can become hyper, disagreeable, and have extremes in behavior.
Most kids' sleep requirements fall within a predictable range of hours based on their age, but each child is a unique individual with distinct sleep needs. Here are some approximate numbers based on age, accompanied by age-appropriate pro-sleep tactics.
From the article,we can conclude that baby should have enough sleep especially for the very young kids and the time is not specified. The effects if baby which lack of sleep is more dangerous compared to adults. So, as a parent, you should make sure that your baby got enough sleep....

Oxgenation in bloods.....

The operation in the aspirin group was on average about 24 min longer than that in the control group. This difference may be explained by the extra time needed for meticulous hemostasis. Patients in the aspirin group also had a larger amount of drainage through the chest drains during the first 24 h. It should be emphasized, however, that the longer duration of the operation and the increased drainage had no implications on outcome. The difference between the groups in terms of length of ICU stay was most probably due to the longer ventilation time in the control group. Although the difference between the groups was of only a few hours, it should be realized that the longer the ICU stay, the greater the potential for ICU-related complications.

The question arising from these results is whether the advantages observed in the study (aspirin) group can be attributed to the significantly lower levels of Tx in this group at the time of surgery, or whether some unrelated factors are responsible for the improvement in lung function after CABG in these patients. This hypothesis is supported by the significant (negative) correlation between Tx levels and oxygenation, in the absence of differences in aspirin levels (which were negligible) between the groups and when multivariate analysis did not detect any other factor independently influencing postoperative lung function.

The beneficial effect of Tx receptor blockade on oxygenation was demonstrated by Thies et al[23] in an experimental model. Johnson et al[3] showed how the decrease in oxygen tension after extracorporeal perfusion in dogs was ameliorated after pretreatment with indomethacin. In most studies on Tx and its effects, a selective Tx receptor blocking agent such as SQ30741[24] or a Tx production inhibitor (dazmegrel)[13] were used to investigate the effects of Tx elimination. These studies characterized the direct action of Tx and the effect of its inhibition.

The potent vasoactive effect of Tx on the lungs is mediated directly by lung tissue but also indirectly by other ischemic organs releasing Tx. During extracorporeal perfusion or later, ischemia may occur in multiple organs like muscles, kidneys, heart, and all other organs as long as it does in the lung tissue. The Tx, which is generated during ischemia, has an injurious effect on the lung, no matter its origin. Increased lung permeability following lower torso ischemia and reperfusion has been attributed to Tx.[25] The lower Tx levels in our study group could account for the decreased permeability of the lung tissue in that group, explaining the better oxygenation.

In this study, we excluded the patients who had experienced myocardial infarction, had poor left ventricular function, and had a higher New York Heart Association functional class to eliminate a possible bias and to produce a homogenous group. Since these patients have a higher level of Tx in their plasma, they will probably benefit even more from its inhibition.
