Dato' Seri Mohd. Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak (born July 23, 1953) is the sixth and current Prime Minister of Malaysia. He previously held the post of Deputy Prime Minister from January 7, 2004 until he succeeded Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi as Prime Minister on April 3, 2009. Najib is a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), and is currently the President of UMNO. He is also the son of Malaysia's second prime minister, Tun Abdul Razak.

[2]Najib became the sixth Prime Minister of Malaysia on 3 April 2009. His cabinet has 28 members, which is slightly smaller than his predecessor's 32 member cabinet.

First 100 Days Najib entered office with a clear focus on domestic economic issues and long-standing political reform questions. On his first day as Prime Minister, Najib announced as his first actions the removal of bans on two opposition newspapers, Suara Keadilan and Harakahdaily, run by the opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim-led People's Justice Party and the Pan Islamic Party, respectively, and the release of 13 people held under the Internal Security Act. He pledged to conduct a comprehensive review of the much-criticized law which allows for indefinite detention without trial. In the speech, he emphasized his commitment to tackling poverty, restructuring Malaysian society, expanding access to quality education for all, and promoting renewed “passion for public service.”[47]In a speech given to the media on April 6, 2009, Najib stated that Malaysia must establish “a new national discourse,” based on the principles of “transparency and accountability”; “service to all”; and “respect and fairness in the public dialogue”, in which “world-class, fact based reporting” including the new media led to better governance through “vibrant public dialogue.”[48]

Former Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad has expressed disappointment that Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s Cabinet appointments include several unsavoury characters, which negated any desire to rid Umno of blatantly corrupt politicians.[49

Alcoholics are not all alike. They experience different degrees of impairment, and the disease has different origins for different people. Consequently, researchers have not found conclusive evidence that any one variable is solely responsible for the brain deficits found in alcoholics. Characterizing what makes some alcoholics vulnerable to brain damage whereas others are not remains the subject of active research (34).

The good news is that most alcoholics with cognitive impairment show at least some improvement in brain structure and functioning within a year of abstinence, though some people take much longer (35–37). Clinicians must consider a variety of treatment methods to help people stop drinking and to recover from alcohol–related brain impairments, and tailor these treatments to the individual patient.

Advanced technology will have an important role in developing these therapies. Clinicians can use brain–imaging techniques to monitor the course and success of treatment, because imaging can reveal structural, functional, and biochemical changes in living patients over time. Promising new medications also are in the early stages of development, as researchers strive to design therapies that can help prevent alcohol’s harmful effects and promote the growth of new brain cells to take the place of those that have been damaged by alcohol
alcohol can cause many disease to our body such as liver disease, Wernicke–Korsakoff syndrome and many more. Most people realize that heavy, long–term drinking can damage the liver, the organ chiefly responsible for breaking down alcohol into harmless byproducts and clearing it from the body. But people may not be aware that prolonged liver dysfunction, such as liver cirrhosis resulting from excessive alcohol consumption, can harm the brain, leading to a serious and potentially fatal brain disorder.People who have been drinking large amounts of alcohol for long periods of time run the risk of developing serious and persistent changes in the brain. Damage may be a result of the direct effects of alcohol on the brain or may result indirectly, from a poor general health status or from severe liver disease.
although alcohol can cause many dangerous disease it also have some benifict if were taken in a small amount.slcohol were mainly used in medication that can help many people.it also used in cooking to create a good taste in the food. as a conclusion alcohol is good if it were taken in a small amount it also can cause many disease if it were taken in a large amount

First and foremost,i would like to tell about the history from the backbone of sepak takraw sport come from.this story is the incident of Raja Muhammad, a son of Sultan Mansur Shah who was accidentally hit with a rattan ball by Tun Besar , a son of Tun Perak, in a sepak raga game. The ball hit Raja Muhammad's headgear and knocked it down to the ground. In anger, Raja Muhammad immediately stabbed and killed Tun Besar, whereupon some of Tun Besar's kinsmen retaliated and wanted to kill Raja Muhammad. However, Tun Perak managed to restrain them from such an act of treason by saying that he would no longer accept Raja Muhammad as the Sultan's heir. As a result of this incident, Sultan Mansur Shah ordered his son out of Malacca and had him installed as the ruler of Pahang.Nowadys, our sepak takraw teams become most of the famous and dangerous team among asia countries especially in sea games once in 2 years and olympic games that held once in 4 years. This malaysian team always be the enemy for all other team from any countries. It can be proved by malaysian squad always reach the final games which is often beat with main enemy which is thailand team. However, malysian takraw teams become worse after participate in world cup that held in terengganu 2 months ago.It can be proved after malaysian teams lost with indonesia which is lower level in world ranking compared with malaysian teams. This situation be the pain for malaysian association of sepak takraw. Many peoples make the own conclusion inside the shame incident.Last but not least,i hope malaysian takraw teams can do the fast changes to become the great teams among the asia countries like before.Thanks..

from this article, it shows that not only man have an issues on smoking but women also smoke. why girls smoke? that is a question that is hard to be answered not only for the women smokers, but also to those who'll be ask "why do women smoke?". they will go, "urm..urm..dunno". well, this article completely stated the answers to those question.

Smoking is a public health issue
Although overall prevalence of smoking for men is
about four times higher than women globally, this
situation is quickly changing (Guidon & Bolsclair, 2003).
WHO predicts that worldwide prevalence of smoking
among women will be 20% by 2025 (Mackay J, 2006),
which is a large increase from the current 12%
prevalence rate (Guidon & Bolsclair, 2003).
Recent studies show that young girls are smoking in
most countries almost as much as young boys, and in
some countries, their prevalence is already higher
(Greaves, Jategonkar, & Sanchez, 2006).

Smoking is a public health issue
Second major cause of death in the world
Currently responsible for one in ten deaths in the world
In Malaysia,
?Gender difference in smoking prevalence Is
noted! (NHMS 3 (2006) reported overall prevalence
of ever smokers at 27.0%. Proportion ofmales ever
smokers at 57.6%; females at only 2.5%.
?prevalence of smokers among women in urban
areas had doubled from 3.6% in 1996 to nearly 8%
in 2000.

Smoking has been described as a tool to make friends, become
accepted in a friendship group and to overcome loneliness.
"I feel lonely since I left my hometown
in East Malaysia to work here in
Peninsular. Most of my friends
smoke, it's a great and cheap way to
make more friends".

Another common theme is stress. Stress or tension can be
related to three reasons, the family (parental stress), the friends
(peer pressure, teased by friends) or school work.

Apparently, there are stages in the uptake of regular smoking.
The first stage is where they felt it was worth a try, out of curiosity or
just because of its accessibility. Most of them had parents and
siblings who smoked at home and  front of them. They described
that usually they are introduced to smoking by their own father
where they are often asked to purchase the cigarettes.
'You know, I smoke because of the parents. If parents smoke their
children will smoke too. Everyday, my father asked me to buy
cigarettes for him. He smokes in front of me. Slowly I took it
myself. Once I tried, I like it'

The second stage is where the smoking habit leads them to form
friendship groups in which they hang out almost every weekend
and during school holidays.
'I don't know, man. I love to hang out with these girls. They
understand me more than my family. I know they smoke from
day one but.... They don't care if I don't smoke and they don't
make me feel an outsider.'

as a conclusion, there are several factors that lead to the smoking among womens and the factor are mostly differ in what to man's. therefore, it is easy to start smoking, but it is hard to stop. as my last word, say "TAK NAK!!" to smoking.

Vitamins!

Assalamualaikum...
i would like to comment an article that i had read about vitamins.
From what i khow and what i had read, not so many things i know on vitamins. There are so many vitamins on the market today, and with so many different formulations and hype, it is hard to determine which vitamins are worth buying. We have reviewed commonly available vitamins and ranked them according to price, ingredients and other common factors to determine our top picks for value and formulation.People usualy took vitamins which are in common such as vitamin C and B complex. They only know better on this vitamins than others.
Depite that, the cheapest vitamins suppliment in market is vitamin C. A mother will usually encourage her children to take vitamin C. Vitamin C taste citrus sweet which kids can easily take it as suppliments.
There is increasing awareness that we need vitamins to promote and enhance our health and well-being. Our environment has undergone and continues to undergo such tremendous changes that it is common knowledge that we cannot rely on the food we eat alone for our nutritional needs.
Dietary supplements can also be extracts or concentrates and can come in many forms. The two most common forms of supplements are liquid and pill forms, with liquids absorbing 5 times better than pill forms.thats all Thank You.

Drug Abuse: Problems and Solutions!!

Drug abuse is the use of illicit drugs or the abuse of prescription or over-the-counter drugs for purposes other than those for which they are indicated or in a manner or in quantities other than directed.
Drug abuse is rife in many countries. Billions of dollars are spent internationally preventing drug use, treating addicts, and fighting drug-related crime. Although drugs threaten many societies, their effects can also be combated successfully. Here are some of the effects of drug use on society, and suggests some solutions to the problem.
Drug abuse causes multiple problems for countries and communities. The medical and psychological effects are very obvious. Addicts cannot function as normal members of society. They neglect or abuse their families, and eventually require expensive treatment or hospitalization. The second effect is on crime. Huge police resources are needed to fight smuggling and dealing. Criminal gangs and mafia underworlds develop with the money from drugs.
However, the menace of drugs can be fought. The first approach is to increase police manpower and powers to stop dealers and to enforce the law. However the main target should be the user. Families and counselors need to talk to children and people at risk. Parents need to look at their children and help them to jobs are needed to give people a role in society.Education is the second way to avoid drug abuse among youth. Youths need to be told at home and in school about drugs. People need to be aware of the effects so that they can make avoid this problem.Last but not least, youth should be able to aware of the danger of taking drugs. Thus, public authorities, Non-government Organisations and others should play a vital role to inform youths about the danger of taking drugs by advertisements, posters and so forth with the aim to avoid drug abuse among youths.
As a conclusion, I think that drug abuse among youth is hard to eliminate if concrete steps are not taken. The danger from drugs is too great to ignore.Youth, himself should be able to control to indulge in taking drugs.
Thanks....

Just now, I have read about an article entitled Midlife Crisis or well known as middle age crisis. I'm attracted with the article because the crisis will be occur on almost all the people around the world. This crisis described as a period of dramatic self-doubt that is felt by some individuals in the middle age of life, as a result of passing youth age and the permanent of old age.

Many middle age of adults will experience major life of events such as death of the loved ones, or the career setback. This will cause a stress or tension that will results as a midlife crisis. There are many more example of the causes that leads to the midlife crisis such as shaken relationship, physical changes, maturation of children, and many more.

Midlife crisis seems to affect male and female differently. Male are more caused by work issues. Sometimes, male also frustrated at the nature of menopause of their partner that will end her reproductive career.

There are many characteristics of the people that experiencing the crisis. Those persons are the person that search for an undefined dream, a deep sense of remorse for goals not accomplished, desire to achieve a feeling of youthfulness, need to spend more time alone or with certain peers, and many more. When they experience this, they will be more abuse of alcohol, acquisition of expensive items, depression, paying special attention to physical appearance, entering relationships with younger people, and many more.

Usually, people see this crisis as the bad crisis that will able to lead the person to the bad thing. For me, this crisis is a key to individuation, a process of self-actualization and self-awareness that contains many bright potential. Some studies indicate that some cultures may be more sensitive to this phenomenon than others, as one study found that there is little evidence that people undergo midlife crises in Japanese and Indian cultures, raising the question of whether a midlife crises is mainly a cultural construct.

For now, people that aged of mine will be much more experienced the cheerful of the youthful life. As the ending, the article warn us to prepare ourselves to avoiding the crisis in a meantime.

smoking

From the smoking article, i would like to comment about the effects of smoking. As we all know, smoking can give a lots of negative effects to us. Almost everyone knows that smoking can causes cancer, emphysema, and heart disease, that it can shorten your life by 10 years or more, and that the habit can cost a smoker thousands of dollars a year. So how come people are still lighting up? The answer, in a word, is addiction.

From the article, it said that once we start smoking, it hard to stop. Its true! Because from my experience, since i was in secondary school, there were a lots of my friends that are smoking, which until now there are still smoking. so, it proved that its hard for someone to stop smoking. smoking is a hard habit to break because tobacco contains nicotine, which is highly addictive. Like heroin or other addictive drugs, the body and mind quickly become so used to the nicotine in cigarettes that a person needs to have it just to feel normal.

so, to all smokers, please stop that habit now because staying smoke free will give you a whole lot more of everything, more energy, better performance, better looks, more money in your pocket, and, in the long run, more life to live!
thank you.

I just found this article is interesting because I quite wonder how a huge country like China is formed. I just think that it is hard to maintain such a huge country in such a shape if it is under control of someone that not talented. Like the Dynasty of Tang, the size of the country is decreased tremendously into such a small country because of the lacking of intelligent leadership of the emperor of Dynasty Tang. So, it is very important for a leader of a country to own an intelligent leadership to lead his country to be a better place for his citizens. I also found that this article is very informative because I can know the history of China from the pre-history of China until the China of today. Maybe I found it interesting myself because I am interested in this topic. If you are interested in this topic too, I will recommend this website to you too. Malaysia's football team was arrived in Malaya with british. As early as 1921, a national league featuring all the states that made up Malaya was started. The league, known as the Malaya Cup and later renamed the Malaysia Cup.

Before independence, the state associations of Perak, Selangor, Negri Sembilan, Malacca and Singapore banded together to form the Malayan Football Association(MFA) in order to against an Australian side that held in Singapore. This has shown how Malaysia's football team had been established with triumph long before we got independence.

Later on,The MFA (now known as FAM) was inducted as a member of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) before becoming a full-fledged member of the international body of FIFA. Tunku Abdul Rahman was the man and the catalyst for the contruction of Merdeka Stadium where soon all the big matches held there.

Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-haj was the first Malay and the first prime minister who became the FAM president after several British govenor such as J.King and Dr. C Rawson. Next, the post was then filled by Tan Sri Datuk Seri Setia Raja Hamzah Haji Abu Samah who was the Minister of Trade and Industry in that time.Tan Sri Datuk Seri Setia Raja Hamzah was the man who introduced various football activities and took Malaysia's football team to a new height in the international arena.

That's all because i have to go. Lala.

It is undeniable that every people in this era are leading a stressful lifestyle. Somehow most of us have been neglecting our most basic but deadly important thing in our life, which is a healthy and balance diet. We eat everyday, but the matter is do we consume the foods in the right way which we suppose to be? Many people seem does not. The main excuse given by them were busy and lacking of time. All this are nonsense! Our healths suppose to be come to our mostly important in our life. This is because without a good and healthy body, we would not even have the chance to continue our daily activities in order to make our lifestyle livelier.
To have and lead a healthier lifestyle, we should have balance food consumption. Generally, carbohydrate from rice, noodle, and cereal are our main energy provider which we should consume more. Secondly, we can consume enough vitamins and fiber from different type of vegetables and fruits. Milk and dairy foods such as cheese and yogurt are rich in calcium, vitamins, and minerals. Meat, fish, poultry, and pulses are our main protein provider especially sardine and salmon fishes.
On the other hand, we should avoid from taking any alcoholic drinks such as beer and wine which will cause high blood pressure and eventually cause heart diseases. Fats are another thing that we should consume less which will bring harm to our body by causing high blood pressure.
In conclusion, we should always take care of our food consumption in order to having a great and healthy lifestyle.

Teen Drug Prevention: How Parent's Can Get Tough

Assalamualaikum,a few weeks ago, i have read a very interesting article about drug abuse.it's about how parents can keep their childs away from drugs

The first and most important thing you should do is to let your teen know drug use will not be tolerated in your family. It is important that your teen fully understands your expectations.ask your teen if they have any questions about this.

It's important to establish strict consequences if break the rule. Think of these consequences as black and white so that there can be no disagreement or interpretation from their end.

When talking to your teen about drug use make sure you are specific. Your teen should understand that drug use is prohibited at all times, even if they are at other people's houses.

A big part of your responsibility is checking up on them when they go out with friends. Let your teen know that you take your role as parent seriously and that checking with other parents is a family policy.

Despite the fact that you've spoken to your teen about the dangers of drugs and your expectations, teenagers will frequently rebel. They may feel that if things get emotional, they'll be able get out of a consequence.Try remain calm if your teen tries to argue with you.Maintain your stance that the rule is non-negotiable.

Always let your teen know how happy you are that they are respecting the rules you have set about drug use. By emphasizing the things that teens do right, as opposed to what they have done wrong, they build self-confidence and learn to feel good about themselves and to trust their own judgment.

as conclusion, parents should be strict with their children when it comes to drug abuse.

GREEN TEA

Usually people hate green tea because green tea bitter. but people doesn't know the true of the green tea. Green tea is a type of tea made solely with the leaves of Camellia sinensis that has undergone minimal oxidation during processing. But more simple is that green tea is type of tea only it just bitter. Over a few decades the green tea has been studied and subjected to many scientific and medical studies to determine the extent of its long-purported health benefits, with some evidence suggesting regular green tea drinkers may have lower chances of heart disease and developing certain types of cancer. There also many of the benefits’ of the green tea that people still doesn't know about it. I prefer the green tea to the ladies because this green tea claimed as useful for "weight loss management”. But it doesn't have any scientific research about the weight loss management. But believe that the green tea is a medium that can make the fat people to become tough for guys and slim for ladies

From the article I had read, about the music of screamo genre, I had knew something new about my favorite music. The music is actually not a modern music. This type of music already exists for a long time ago, since 1978. This music type was considered as a punk music but actually it is not. In the early 1980, punk music was introduced to the world. In the same time, screamo music also introduce together with gothic music. Thus, people made an assumption that, this kind of music was the same. As a listener of that music, I am able to differentiate this music. If you listen to them once, you won't be able to differentiate them. The easy way to know which type of music it is, I listen to drum beats, guitar strumming, and to the vocals sings. Besides that, I differentiate them through the meaning of the lyrics. Punk music represented chaos and unsatisfying thing. While screamo music represent about love and life.

History of Rugby in Malaysia

Rugby in Malaysia is very much older than most people realise. Earlier records shows that the game was being played with great enthusiasm by our predecessors more than a century ago and the rugby match which until recently was one of the most important items in the domestic rugby programme had its beginnings in the 1890's. In those days however there was not much scope for players outside Singapore. The inter club match between the Singapore Cricket Club and the Selangor Club was first played in 1902. But rugby had not begun in Perak and the only match was an annual "Scotland Vs Rest of The World" in Penang which was played in each November in the memory of St. Andrew.

Progress was slow up to the days of the 1st World War but the game in Malaya received a tremendous fillip from the visit of the battleship "HMS Malaya" and the presentation of the "HMS Malaya Cup".They were given perpetuity for annual competitions. Then,it's slowly began to develop in residential school which now has been such a tremendously annually tournament.

Rugby was flourishing in the schools but few of these school boys continued to play the game after they left. It was felt that a youth competition, organised on an inter-state basis might attract these school leavers and encourage them to continue playing. Then, Under 23 inter-state competition had been organised by MRU(Malaysia Rugby Union).

Rugby is spreading in the schools and Malays in particular take to it very well as the annually tournaments keep being held in our country. And now rugby in Malaysia keeps growing.

First and foremost, we are actually being exposed to many infection like cough, flu and many more. Nowadays we are seriously being harm by the new virus H1N1, well known as Influenza A or swine flu. This topic is not a kid minded things but it is a serious matter, it is about live and death.
I had done many things in order to prevent this virus from making my life being destroy. I had an intensive to make a medical checkup about this virus and I also had wearing a mask when going out to town. I had an experience where i see there are some people who assume this virus is just a joke. For me this virus can bring a massive effect, it can also affect to the economy. From what I knew the H1N1 is derived from avian flu (bird flu H5N1) which have affected pig and combine with swine flu which actually will spread among pig only but under some circumstances the virus has mutate for suit themself in human body. While the virus is in the human body it will mutate again and become air born and will spread from one human to another. Because of it is an air born virus, the virus can stand in the air among 2 untill 8 hour only, and in that time if the virus can’t get a host like a human body, the virus will die. So when a room has 24 hour good air ventilation the room will be clean from this virus. I had heard a talk about this virus which there are many people who had a high risk to this virus.
First, the people who had problems with obesity, pregnent women, people who had problems with immunisation, and last but not least the astma people. The symptoms is day-1, fell less healthy. Day-2, cough, flu and fever. Day- 3, had trouble breathing normally. Day-4, fell very pain at chest and day-5, lung collapse or koma.I am very worried about my family health, my friend health, and my health so I will do my best to protect all people who knew me.
As a concern people, we all must take the precation step in our daily life in order to make our life better and not infected by this undying virus.
Thank you.

The Malaysian economy has undergone a massive transformation from an agricultural to an industrial economy. The transformation was mainly caused by the rapid expansion of the manufacturing sector since the 1980s. Nevertheless, the agri-food sector continues to contribute to national development as a result of its production, employment, export earnings, and maintenance of food security. To remain competitive, the agri-food sector must be able to respond to the changing economy. This will require strategic planning and the ability to adjust quickly to change.

There is a distinct dichotomy in the structure of the Malaysian food-processing industry. On the one hand, the large-scale industries include Nestle, Unilever, and Cadbury, which are well organized and managed and use modern machinery and up-to-date technologies. On the other hand, the food sector is fragmented and dominated by small- and medium- scale industries, which are plagued by various problems in the areas of technology, finance, management, labor, marketing, R&D, and supply of raw materials. There are more than 10,000 food-processing factories in Malaysia, of which 93% are classified as small-scale ones. Small-scale enterprises are defined as those that have paid up capital of RM 500,000 or less and are exempted from the Industrial Coordination Act (ICA), while medium-size enterprises are those with paid-up capital of RM 501,000 to RM 2.5 million.

Malaysia is continuously increasing food imports into the country. Neighboring countries of Malaysia are generally the leading trade partners. New Zealand is the leading exporter of dairy products to Malaysia; Australia is the leading exporter of meat products, and both countries are among the top exporters of fresh fruit, vegetables, and wines. These two countries have the advantage of shorter and, therefore, more economical shipping times.China is among the leading exporters of fresh fruits, along with Thailand and Indonesia. The majority of chicken products are imported from the United States and Denmark, while seafood products are imported from Thailand and Indonesia.Trade organizations, such as the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers and the Malaysian External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), aggressively promote and assist Malaysia's food industry export market.

For Malaysia, which aspires to become an industrialized nation, the growth of the agri-food sector is crucial for the sector to contribute effectively to the development of the country. The agri-food sector, however, faces several challenges. To sustain its development, relevant strategies are identified. These include, among others, providing an environment that is conducive to business, outlining land provisions, tackling labor issues, adopting advanced technology, focusing on environmental preservation, and expanding the industrial base.In future,I hope i can became an engineer in a plantation field. To increase a production of our food and decrease our importation of food from other country.

Assalamualaikum and peace to all..
Here i would like to share what I've had read and very interesting to be shared.

Why do we read Quran, even if we can't understand a single Arabic word? This is beautiful story, please read till end and forward to all you knows...

An old American Muslim lived on a farm in the mountains of eastern Kentucky with his young grandson. Each morning Grandpa was up early sitting at the kitchen table reading his Qur'an. His grandson wanted to be just like him and tried to imitate him in every way he could.

One day the grandson asked,
"Grandpa! I try to read the Qur'an just like you but I don't understand it, and what I do understand I forget as soon as I close the book. What good does reading the Qur'an do?"

The Grandfather quietly turned from putting coal in the stove and replied,
"Take this coal basket down to the river and bring me back a basket of water."

The boy did as he was told, but all the water leaked out before he got back to the house.

The grandfather laughed and said,
"You'll have to move a little faster next time,"

He sent him back to the river with the basket to try again. This time the boy ran faster, but again the basket was empty before he returned home. Out of breath, he told his grandfather that it was impossible to carry water in a basket, and he went to get a bucket instead.

The old man said,
"I don't want a bucket of water; I want a basket of water. You're just not trying hard enough,"

He went out the door to watch the boy try again. At this point, the boy knew it was impossible, but he wanted to show his grandfather that even if he ran as fast as he could, the water would Leak out before he got back to the house. The boy again dipped the basket into river and ran hard, but when he reached his grandfather the basket was again empty.

Out of breath, he said,
"See Grandpa, it's useless!"

"So you think it is useless?"

The old man said,
"Look at the basket."

The boy looked at the basket and for the first time realized that the basket was different. It had been transformed from a dirty old coal basket and was now clean, inside and out.

"Son, that's what happens when you read the Qur'an. You might not understand or remember everything, but when you read it, you will be changed, inside and outside. That is the work of Allah in our lives."

Moral of the story was read Al-Quran frequently as it will purify our heart. When we have pure heart, it is easy to do righteous and leave jahiliyah and badness in ourselves.

NAME: MOHD HARFI BIN MAMAT
ID NUMBER:MA09122
SECTION:M10
A few months before I was born, my dad met a stranger who was new to our small town. From the beginning, Dad was fascinated with this enchanting newcomer, and soon invited him to live with our family. The stranger was quickly accepted and was around to welcome me into the world a few months later.

As I grew up, I never questioned his place in our family. In my young mind, each member had a special niche. My brother, Bilal, five years my senior, was my example. Fatimah, my younger sister, gave me an opportunity to play big brother’ and develop the art of teasing. My parents were complementary instructors - Mom taught me to love the word of Allah, and Dad taught me to obey it. But the stranger was our storyteller. He could weave the most fascinating tales. Adventures, mysteries, and comedies were daily conversations. He could hold our whole family spell-bound for hours each evening.

If I wanted to know about politics, history, or science, he knew it. He knew about the past, understood the present, and seemingly could predict the future. The pictures he could draw were so life like that I would often laugh or cry as I watched. He was like a friend to the whole family. He took Dad, Bilal, and me to our first major league baseball game.

He was always encouraging us to see the movies and he even made arrangements to introduce us to several movie stars. The stranger was an incessant talker. Dad didn’t seem to mind but sometimes Mom would quietly get up while the rest of us were enthralled with one of his stories of faraway places, go to her room, and read her Qur’an and pray. I wonder now if she ever prayed that the stranger would leave.

You see, my dad ruled our household with certain moral convictions. But this stranger never felt an obligation to honor them. Profanity, for example, was not allowed in our house - not for some of us, from our friends, or adults. Our longtime visitor, however, used occasional four letter words that turned my ears and made Dad squirm.

To my knowledge, the stranger was never confronted. My dad was a teetotaler who didn’t permit alcohol in his home, as good Muslims should. But the stranger felt like we needed exposure and enlightened us to other ways of life. He offered us beer and other alcoholic beverages often. He made cigarettes look tasty, cigars manly, and pipes distinguished. He talked freely (probably too much, too freely) about sex. His comments were sometimes blatant, sometimes suggestive, and generally embarrassing.

I know now that the stranger influenced my early concepts of the man-woman relationship. As I look back, I believe it was the grace of Allah that the stranger did not influence us more. Time after time, he opposed the values of my parents. Yet, he was seldom rebuked and never asked to leave. More than thirty years have passed since the stranger moved in with the young family on Wangee Road.

He is not nearly so intriguing to my Dad as he was in those early years. But if I were to walk into my parents’ den today, you would still see him sitting over in a corner, waiting for someone to listen to him talk and watch him draw his pictures… His name you ask? We called him TV.

hi everyone..
I'm going to comment on article that I had read and that what my task is.hehe...
I had read a article about drugs and its abuse. It seems that drugs become more common used to our teenagers.Once upon a time drugs was only used for medications but nowdays people are using it for different purpose. And most people are miss using drugs.Drugs can be addicted due to frequent uses. The disorder of addiction involves the progression of acute drug use to the development of drug-seeking behavior, the vulnerability to relapse, and the decreased, slowed ability to respond to naturally rewarding stimuli. The are so many kind of drug such as amphetamines, nicotine, cocaine. This kind of drugs, increase dopamine signaling in the reward system either by directly stimulating its release, or by blocking its absorption (see "reuptake"). These substances (sometimes called "uppers") typically cause heightened alertness and energy. They cause a pleasant feeling in the body, and euphoria, known as a high. This high wears off leaving the user feeling depressed. This sometimes makes them want more of the drug, and can worsen the addiction.
But the good news isTreatments for drug addiction vary widely according to the types of drugs involved, amount of drugs used, duration of the drug addiction, medical complications and the social needs of the individual. Determining the best type of recovery program for an addicted person depends on a number of factors, including: personality, drug(s) of addiction, concept of spirituality or religion, mental or physical illness, and local availability and affordability of programs.

not bad comments guys..but i'm going to talk about something i really enjoy,indulge,cheer..it's music..you see..almost everyone loves musics..but my jam is unic..they are METAL songs..basically i frequently listen to melodic death, magnetic death and speed metal songs..it's not as eerie as it sounds..trust me,i've tried it..and sorry i just don't listen to the blasphemous genre of black metal because it's blasphemous and sometimes heretic..i started listening to these songs when i was in matriculation program..of course it initially didn't start like a music to my ears..but after a while,as a result of befriending metal musics geeks..i liked it..or maybe LOVED it..the reason is because it's so energetic that i can't put my mind to sleep at night thinking about it(might be the reason i didn't go to classes all this while)..but seriously it is the brilliance of music art to me..besides that,it is also melodic to the level that it can feed your mind with tranquility..how about that for a comment?..i majorly enjoy listening to this one group..the band is called CHILDREN OF BODOM..I've got about 24 songs from that band..guess i should leave some space for the others to post comments since I've cheered this blog up..haha..for any metal fan out there,do show me some speed shredding guitars..rock on!..
